As the sun drops toward the horizon, Anil Kalupahanage crouches on top of a fish box as he tries to spot schools of tuna in the Indian Ocean off the coast of Hikkaduwa, Sri Lanka. Anil, 39, was part of an eight-man crew aboard the "Sun Madushan," a traditional Sri Lankan 35-footĘ fishing catamaran. Anil, who lost his home in the December 2004 tsunami, earns $30.00 in a good month as a fisherman for his family of four.
